Careers

Why join Peel Health Care?

We pride ourselves on our collaborative workplace culture.

At Peel Health Care staff and contractors share a philosophy of supporting and networking with other health practitioners, embracing a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, to reach the best possible outcomes for patients. Our comprehensive, kind and personal service ethos is embedded throughout the practice.

We are proud of our longstanding reputation for supporting outstanding healthcare provision and believe residents in regional and rural Australia deserve reliable access to highly qualified and experienced medical professionals. Clinicians are committed to sharing their knowledge and skills with the next generation via the training and mentoring of GP registrars, medical and nursing students within the practice.

We believe in encouraging a positive work/life balance. Doctors practicing at Peel Health Care choose their own hours, days of work and the number of patients they wish to see. Plus, the practice is fully managed, leaving contractors free to focus on their patients, on teaching and life outside of work. We also provide strong opportunities for training and career development.

Our practice is fully accredited with AGPAL and is a not-for-profit organisation, with all proceeds channelled back into patient care, up-to-date medical equipment and management of the practice.

We welcome enquiries from GPs who are interested in a tree change or would like to be a visiting specialist.

Please contact our Chief Executive Officer Melissa Hayes for any enquiries.
