Peel Health Care Ltd (Limited) is a not-for-profit organisation providing a general practice service in Tamworth NSW. The organisation includes practice Peel Health Care.
Peel Health Care Ltd was established in August 2005 by the Directors of North West Slopes (NSW) Division of General Practice Ltd in an effort to address the chronic shortage of General Practitioners (GPs) and Allied Health professionals within the Tamworth area.
Peel Health Care commenced operation on the 25th August 2005 at 160-168 Bridge Street, Tamworth. In June 2009, due to the rapid and continuous growth and expansion, Peel Health Care re-located to 103 Peel Street, Tamworth into a new purpose built medical centre with spacious and modern facilities, a large practice nurse area and student facilities.
